January is such an exciting time in Guatemala! Can we share some of the excitement with you?
SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION
Vida Schools are back in session! In Guatemala, the school year runs from January to October, so it’s new grades, new teachers, and for some of our children, their very first chance to attend school!
Please pray for families who are still deciding whether or not to send their children to school this year, and please pray for our teachers and for our students, that they would start the year well.

TEAMS ARE BACK
Right now, we’re hosting a medical team, a team of mechanics, and some carpenters in Guatemala. We have some dentists arriving later this month, and our first school and church teams soon after that.
It’s set to be a busy year, and we’re excited about how our short-term teams will impact Guatemala – and how God will make an impact on their own lives while they’re here!

A HEARTFELT GOOD-BYE
Many of you have met Julio & Julie and their family when you’ve come to Guatemala. They have headed the hospitality department for Impact Ministries for many years, and have impacted hundreds of lives through their faithful service to Impact Ministries.
Julio & Julie have an exciting new opportunity with a ministry called TeachBeyond, and we wish them every blessing as they follow the Lord’s leading and transition into their new roles. We will miss Julio & Julie, but are confident that they’ve done a great job of training up leaders within the hospitality team to keep things running smoothly.
