On Sunday morning (August 21) as our church family gathered on our new property to pray a prayer of dedication, we were filled with anticipation. The Lord has been doing great things…but much is left to be done. We all took our places on the perimeter of our future church sanctuary and with eyes of faith we envisioned many souls coming to Christ. We were reminded that “the time is short” and determined before God that we would focus our lives on seeing His Kingdom grow. “Lord, if we are going to be a testimony of your love and power, we need your Spirit to help us as we put our “hand to the plow” and never look back!”
The Mechanics Shop
Mechanics Shop and Training
A team of dedicated mechanics has made an annual trip to Guatemala to maintain the fleet of vehicles Impact Ministries uses to transport Short Term Mission Teams and manage the ministry. Until now, they have worked outside and under temporary tarps when it rains. In Tactic – it rains.
A donation has been made to build a Mechanics Shop and Training facility on the Chisac property and construction has begun. Cement footings have been poured and the four 40′ containers have been set into place to build the walls. The Mechanics Shop and Training Centre will use one of these spaces.
We are truly grateful.
