Does a School Meal Really Make a Difference for Kids in Guatemala?

Does a school meal really make a difference?

Axel used to come to school sad. His stomach hurt, and he couldn’t concentrate in class. He dealt regularly with fever and diarrhea. Axel’s family didn’t have enough food to go around and he wasn’t eating regularly or well.

Providing a nutritious school meal to a student in Guatemala costs 83 cents.

Thanks to God’s provision through wonderful people like you, Axel now enjoys a delicious breakfast at school before he starts his day.

Each morning, Axel lines up at the school kitchen with a big smile to receive his plate of food. His health has improved. His grades have improved. He now feels the self-confidence that comes with knowing Jesus loves him. He’s so thankful to everyone involved in ensuring he gets a meal every morning.

Today is Giving Tuesday and Impact Ministries’ #NoHungryKidsGuatemala campaign. Will you make sure kids like Axel have the meals they need to grow and to learn?

You can provide a dozen meals for $10. Feed a class for $22. You can even feed a whole school for just $260!

Your gift this Giving Tuesday will provide meals for hungry children like Axel throughout the upcoming school year.
