We have been so blessed to have some mechanics join us here in Guatemala this last month. Gary Beharrel was here in Tactic for three weeks and Phil Cote joined him for one of those weeks. Our Sprinter had been down for over a year due to technical “computer” errors and complications, and there was seemingly nothing we could do about it. No mechanic was able to figure out how to fix this one, not even the mechanic from the dealer in Guatemala City! After struggling through Skype, email and phone conversations between Gary and our mechanic, through a translator, with no results, we finally asked him if he would come down to help us out.
He researched for countless hours, finally obtaining the Sprinter manual, which previously had only been available to the Sprinter dealers, only to find out that the tools he needed to fix it were also only available to Sprinter dealers. So he came down to Tactic, bringing with him all of his tools, to see what could be done.
Between uplifted prayers and much research – we are excited to be able to say that the Sprinter is back on the road!
Praise the LORD!
Thank you Gary and Phil for allowing yourselves to be used by God here in Tactic to repair and maintain our vehicles! Your love offering of time and expertise is a blessing to many – you are helping us keep our staff/students/teams safe!
