CONTAINER SHIPMENT – GUATEMALA BOUND!
Impact Ministries is having a container sent to Guatemala, from Delta BC. We are currently in the process of collecting items to be shipped to Guatemala. Please email Sandra, our Canadian Operations Manager at sandra@impactministries.ca if you are able to provide any of the following items, and ship them to Delta, BC (we will provide address).
We are so grateful to Houweling’s Tomatoes, Casey Houweling, and his family for offering to send a container to Guatemala for us! They have taken on the project of loading and shipping the container. Thank you!!!
Here is a list of items we are currently looking for. Thank you for your interest in helping, and if you are able to donate any of the following items, we wish to say a sincere thank you to you!
Here is the current list of items we are looking for (Dec. 18, 2015):
- Musical Instruments. Our 1500 students aspire to play an instrument. We also have teachers who are eager to provide the instruction. What we are missing is the instruments.
- Sound systems for the schools. We are in need of good amplifiers, sound boards, mixers and speakers. If your church or school has some old equipment in good working condition that is not in use, we can use it!
- Stage lighting. If your church or school (or local community theater group) is upgrading your lighting, and would like to donate your used stage lighting, this would be very helpful. Our students love the arts, and lights make such a difference. Could you help with some equipment that is being retired?
- Laptops and Desktop computers in good working order. Laptops: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53 GHZ, Hard Drive: 200 GB, RAM: 2GB, Desktops: Processor: Intel core 2 Duo 3.00 GHZ, Hard Drive: 160 Gigs with a SATA connection,Ram: 2 Gigs DDR2
- Sewing Machines. If you know of sewing machines that are being retired, but are still in good working order, this would be a blessing to Impact Ministries. Perhaps there is a class set from a school that is being retired.
