Happy New Year!

Have you ever felt like these children? Have you ever felt in awe of what’s happening, but wishing you could see past the celebrations – see clearly what’s coming next?

We are in awe of what God has done through Impact Ministries this past year:

  • The truth of the gospel has gone into homes in an unprecedented manner; new believers are being baptized and the church is growing
  • The Impact Ministries staff in Guatemala, Canada and USA are more dedicated and committed to seeing God’s kingdom grow than ever before
  • The Impact Guatemala staff are stepping into their leadership roles with determination and enthusiasm
  • Thousands of food hampers have been delivered to impoverished families attending our schools and churches
  • The Guatemalan Ministry of Education has given us approval to open the 11th Vida School (a Junior High at Agua de Vida Chijulhá) in January

And we have big dreams for 2023. Dreams we can’t quite see clearly yet. Dreams of creating our own quality Christ-centered resources for all our Vida students. Dreams of reaching into unreached communities that don’t have access to education for their children and don’t yet know the Lord. Dreams that go deeper and broader for so many children in Guatemala.

We know that these are God-sized dreams. But we also know that the Lord promises us that if we submit to Him in all our ways, He will make our paths straight (from Prov 3:6). So we’re praying for straight paths for the coming year as we submit our dreams to Him.

As we head into this new year, may your paths, too, be straight and your future bright!

Happy New Year from our family, the Impact Ministries staff, and from all those who have been blessed by your heart for the children of Guatemala.

(If Impact Ministries is part of your planned year-end giving, there are still a few hours to give to Build a Brighter Future. THANK YOU to everyone who has given so far! If it’s still on your list, you can donate here right now.)
