Our Impact Story
We have had a heart for the mission of Impact Ministries since our first trip to Guatemala as part of a Short-term Mission Team in 2006. At that time God placed a yearning in our hearts to become more involved with the ministry, but due to our jobs and the ages of our children, we were not able to fully see what that would look like. We began doing what we could: leading several teams and volunteering in a variety of capacities, including as guesthouse hosts in Guatemala. All of those opportunities have given us a fuller understanding of the ministry.
We are now at a stage in our lives where we feel the Lord calling us into more full-time ministry. We are providing operational oversight to Impact Ministries USA through communications, promotion, database and website management, and financial management, including fundraising. We are also working with the many volunteers who contribute to the ministry.
We desire to continue the good work that has been started at Impact Ministries by the staff and volunteers who have committed so much time and effort to the ministry. We see changed lives, not just in Guatemala, but in the lives of North American Christians.
