Ericka Cabnal de Beb
Ericka joined Impact Ministries as a Vida teacher. She soon moved into the position of principal, then led the supervisory team of the Vida Schools. Now she and her husband, Hector, are the Operations Managers for Impact Ministries in Guatemala, serving alongside Les and Rita in the leadership of the ministry.

Pastor Hector Beb
Hector studied in our schools and upon graduation, became one of our teachers. He went on to serve as a principal and then became our first ordained pastor. He is now our lead pastor overseeing all three Rio de Vida congregations. He and his wife, Ericka, are also the Operations Managers for Impact Ministries in Guatemala, serving alongside Les and Rita in the leadership of the ministry.

David Chitay
David grew up in our school, became one of our teachers, and a few years later, became a principal. He is now the leader of the Vida Schools supervisory team and serves as secretary to the board in Guatemala.

Pastor Mynor Toc
Mynor originally joined Impact Ministries as a helper in a classroom, subsequently serving both as classroom teacher and as principal. He became ordained in the Rio de Vida Church, and now works very closely with Hector in overseeing all three congregations. He teaches Bible class in our high schools and prepares students to lead worship in the devotionals. As well, Mynor and his wife, Aydee, live in and manage the day-to-day operations in the Vida Children’s Home as house parents.

Miriam Fernández
Miriam originally joined Impact Ministries as a classroom helper, then served as the school secretary of Vida Chamché School before becoming part of the sponsorship team. Today, she is the sponsorship coordinator, the bridge connecting sponsors and students, as she coordinates the Guatemalan side of sponsorship.

Hugo Quej
Hugo was never a student in our schools, but his children were, and it’s through them that both parents came to faith. Hugo and Claudia have served as lay leaders in the Río de Vida Purulhá congregation, as teachers in the Vida Schools, and as members of the hospitality team enthusiastically serving Impact teams coming to Guatemala. In 2026, Hugo transitioned from being a Team Host to becoming the Director of Hospitality, taking on leadership for the short-term missions program in Guatemala.

Juan Garcia
Juan began serving Impact Ministries as a driver and a mechanic for the hospitality team. Today, he continues to drive our short-term teams to their activities, but he also heads up the transportation department, ensuring our vehicles are well cared for and our teams are able to get where they need to go.

Eduardo Donis
Eduardo came to Impact as a student, then became a teacher and a principal in our Vida Schools. Later, he assisted the previous director as part of the Construction and Maintenance Team, ensuring our existing facilities are maintained and carrying out our new construction projects to fulfil the ongoing vision of Impact Ministries. He learned the tasks well, and now has stepped into the role of Director of Construction and Maintenance.

Elmer Felipe Sierra
Felipe came to Impact as a junior high student, and later became a helper and then a teacher in our Vida Schools. Now, he serves as Impact’s business manager and director of sustainability, working with projects such as our greenhouse and coffee plantation to enhance the financial stability of the ministry.

Gesler Mó
Gesler began serving at Impact as a classroom teacher before moving into the Technology and Multimedia team. In the technology side of his role, he combines his teaching experience with his technical skills to optimize the computer labs at Vida Schools. On the multimedia side, he coordinates capturing photos and videos to highlight what God is doing in Guatemala.

Erika Xol
Erika began working in the Impact Clinic as a nursing assistant soon after her son started attending Kindergarten at a Vida School. She has faithfully served in the medical clinic area while continuing her own studies, and is graduating with her Bachelor of Science in nursing. Today, Erika serves as the head nurse in the Medical Clinic area.

Camilo began attending Rio de Vida Church when his children were Vida students. We have seen him grow spiritually and share his abilities and talents.
